David was taught the fire knife dance by professional fire knife performers at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Oahu Hawaii while he attended BYU Hawaii. He has performed the fire knife dance for events as small as backyard bar-b-que’s and as large as 200 kids at the Boys & Girls Clubs on National Kid’s Day.
